About Us

Teddycraft was founded by Lesley Dimmick who originally started to design and manufacture teddy bears back in the early 1990's trading under the name of Wellhead Bears. Lesley sold her bears at craft and specialised teddy bear fairs throughout the UK and in Europe, winning numerous awards for her designs; some of these original designs are still within the collection today

Due to the popularity and demand of her teddies, Lesley and her husband opened a teddy bear shop Wellhead Bears of Bourne and although it now has new owners, it is still trading as a specialist teddy bear shop

In 2009, Teddycraft was formed as an internet based business branching out into teddy bear making kits, supplies, antique bears and the recent launch of signature/autograph bears

Teddycraft, still a family run business, prides itself on excellent service and provides high quality, unique products which are all manufactured and carefully assembled here in the UK
